Since my last post, my nineteenth birthday has come and gone. I've taken the bus to Barrie and back, and am now in the same place as I was a week ago; on my bed, laptop on my knee, listening to country music.
My birthday was great. Monday night, Auntie Ro and the girls, Maam and Bamps, and Aunt Janice all came over for cake and icecream. It was awesome. Got some very exciting new things. Tuesday I worked - both jobs - and then went out for dinner with Kyla, Ashley, Rachel and Jess - once again - very exciting new things, including a half-pound chocolate bar, and four Bacardi Coolers( what am I going to do with those? ;))
Visiting home was WONDERFUL - lots of quality time with Mama, Dad and Emily. Jordan was working all weekend (sad) but I saw him for a while on Thursday. Oh well - only a month until I go and visit again. And then it will be CHRISTMAS.
Mama bought me a two-foot Christmas tree and decorations for my bedroom. She also snuck a few snowmen into my suitcase. Put up your hand if you're aware of Mama's snowman fetish. Know the one made out of cobwebs, that's super ugly? Oh yes - I have it here, with me, in Ottawa (it was hidden in my purse - yessss)
That's all for now. I work like crazy this week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Wow. Hopefully I SURVIVE until Christmas.

My Dear you will survive, because you are a survivor. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy your birthday. I am sure you will enjoy the 1/2 pound chocolate bar (does it have nuts in it?).
It is not a spider web snowman, it is the family "hairloom" and as the eldest daughter..........
We loved having you home!!!!!!mama
I would love to see this spider web snowman. And Alicia, you should be happy that you get to have this heirloom.
